Need help?
Pick what is happening. Do these first, then get in touch.
From a device you trust, change the mailbox password and sign out of every session.
Note any forwarding rules you did not create, then remove them.
Warn your contacts not to act on odd payment or login requests from you.
Disconnect the affected computer from the network. Leave it switched on.
Do not pay anything, and do not reply to the attacker.
Stop using shared drives until they have been checked.
Check it on a phone using mobile data, to see whether it is down for everyone.
Note when it stopped working and what changed just before.
Do not reinstall or restore anything yet; that can erase what caused it.
We answer Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:30 SAST, and take critical issues after hours and on public holidays at twice the normal rate. Outside those hours, availability and response times are as agreed in your support scope.
