About this generator

Build it once, then paste it into your mail program

The signature uses a simple layout that common mail programs show well. Send yourself a test, since spacing and images can vary.

How do you add it to Outlook?

Outlook keeps signatures in two places, depending on which Outlook you use.

New Outlook and Outlook on the web
Choose Settings, then Accounts, then Signatures. Add a signature, give it a name, paste into the box and save. Choose it for new messages and for replies.
Classic Outlook for Windows
Choose File, then Options, then Mail, then Signatures. Choose New, name it, paste into the edit box and choose OK.

How do you add it to Gmail?

Choose Settings, then See all settings. In the Signature section, create a signature, paste it into the box, and choose Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Gmail allows up to 10,000 characters, which is why the generator refuses anything longer.

Why does it use tables and a hosted logo?

Mail programs ignore most modern web layout, so the signature is built with tables and inline styles, the way mail programs expect. Images are linked from where they are hosted, not attached, and each has its size and a text description, so the signature holds its shape even before the images load.

Is anything typed here sent to you?

No. The signature is built in your browser. The only requests are for your own logo and banner, from the addresses you give, to show them in the preview. It stores nothing and sends nothing to us.
